Technical Meetings with the Local Municipalities
January 30, 2025
The experts from the NNLE Ecolution Georgia and Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA) organized a site visit to all target municipalities in Ajara region (Khulo, Shuakhevi, Qeda, Khelvachauri, Batumi, and Kobuleti) in January, 2025. Meetings were held with the representatives of the local authorities. Technical issues related to the project were discussed in details. The specific data required for the development of the stakeholder mapping and needs assessment was successfully collected.
This transnational project fosters cooperation between three Black Sea Basin countries—Georgia, Turkey, and Greece—while incorporating the European Union’s best practices. It is being implemented by four partner organizations: the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA), Ecolution Georgia, WRI Türkiye, and the Forest Research Institute - DIMITRA.
The project is co-financed by the European Union under the "Interreg NEXT Black Sea Basin Program" and will run until the end of 2026.
